Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development (UCSD) with support from USAID/East Africa’s is partnering with Tetra Tech ARD to implement “Planning for Resilience through Policy, Adaptation, Research and Economic Development (PREPARED), The overall goal of the PREPARED Project is “to strengthen the resiliency and sustainability of East African economies, trans-boundary freshwater ecosystems, and communities.” UCSD is implementing a project, “Assessing Customer Satisfaction and Developing a Stakeholder Engagement Framework and Strategy for the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) – Jinja and Iganga Uganda”. UCSD’s involvement is to implement the “Non – Revenue Water (NRW), National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Jinja and Iganga, Uganda through conducting Baseline Customer Satisfaction Survey and Customer Engagement Framework and Strategy.

The goal of the project is: Financial sustainability of NWSC enhanced, and the purpose of the project is: Reduce NWSC-Jinja NRW by 20 % in one year with the following objectives:-

Project Objectives: -

a) To conduct a customer satisfaction survey in NWSC Jinja and Iganga area
b) To develop a customer engagement framework and strategy for NWSC Jinja and Iganga area based on the customer satisfaction survey.
c) To strengthen the capacities of Civil Society Organisations, communities and special groups on Non-Revenue water management in NWSC Jinja and Iganga area.
